MyRoom is developed by Arotack Services. This privacy policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.

Information We Collect

The MyRoom app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data stays on your device.

Bluetooth

The app uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to communicate with your ESP32 cooler controller device. Bluetooth data (temperature, humidity, device status) is processed locally on your phone and is not sent to any server.

Permissions

Bluetooth — Required to connect to your cooler controller device via BLE.
Location — Required by Android for Bluetooth scanning. We do not track or store your location.
Foreground Service — Used to maintain BLE connection when the app is in the background.

Google Assistant Integration

The app supports Google Assistant voice commands through App Actions. Voice commands are processed by Google Assistant and forwarded to the app. We do not have access to your voice recordings.

Data Storage

Device connection preferences (such as the last connected device address and settings) are stored locally on your phone using Android SharedPreferences. No data is uploaded to any cloud service.

Third-Party Services

The app does not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
